Summary
In one month Jeremy Fink will turn thirteen。 But does he have what it takes to be a teenager？ He collects mutant candy， he won't venture more than four blocks from his apartment if he can help it， and he definitely doesn't like surprises。 On the other hand， his best friend， Lizzy， isn't afraid of anything， even if that might get her into trouble now and then。

I bought this book for $1 at Half Price Books at least 10 years ago。 It was stuck on the shelf and ignored until yesterday。 I’ve been using a random number generator to chose my next read for most of this year。 Jeremy Fink’s turn finally came up and I’m so happy it did。 This book is YA but I was able to fully enjoy it at as a 44 year old adult。 It’s a real treasure and I’m sorry I waited so long to get around to reading it。
